Your
neighborhood auto body specialist, Mike
Hynes, started the business
located at Redford Street in Allston in 1960. Sons Michael, Danny,
and Barry took over the business in 1983, and it's been growing ever
since.
Although the business now offers a complete line of automotive services,
the focus is still on bodywork and painting. Mike and Danny work with
all insurance companies to give you the best
deal in bodywork. You get excellent collision repair with no extra
cost beyond the insurance estimate.

Cars
in 1896: Mass production of cars began when the Duryea Motor Wagon
Company of Springfield, Massachusetts, began making cars to a single
pattern. The Duryea Company eventually failed, but the idea of mass
produced cars surfaced again in 1901 after a fire destroyed the factory
where Curved Dash Oldsmobiles were being built. Henry Leland, an engineer
employed by Ransom E. Oldsmobile, came up with the assembly-line concept
and Oldsmobile filled its backorders and survived the disaster as
a result. Henry Ford, of course, eventually made the assembly-line
method famous.
